Title: The Legal Framework of Clinical Trials
Synopsis: The talk will cover
- a brief overview of the legal oversight and legal documents involved in the setup and management of a clinical trial. The talk will also consider the pitfalls in conducting clinical trials from a risk perspective, particularly from sponsor point of view;
- a snapshot of the new Clinical Trial Regulation which will replace the Clinical Trials Directive; and
- a general look at the General Data Protection Regulation and the implications for life science companies.
